PRME PhD Course – Module 1, hosted at SSE

This week – Monday 17 to Wednesday 19 Oct, SSE hosted the first module of the PRME PhD Course – Sustainability and CSR in the Nordic context, together with Jönköping International Business School.

25 PhD students from different Nordic Universities, including: Hanken, Jönköping International Business School, University of Oulu, Copenhagen Business School, LUT University, Karlstad University, University of Vaasa, and Örebro University came to Stockholm.

Module 1, led by SSE PRME Director – Laurence Romani, with logistical support from the Misum team gave the students an introduction to the global challenges and Nordic research on sustainability, and several of the sessions were led by SSE faculty: Susanne Sweet, Emma Sjöström, and Per Strömberg.

Modules 2 (Virtual) and 3 (in Oulu, Finland) will be held in the Spring of 2023, and at the end of the course the students will work together to prepare a paper/chapter for edited book written.
