Luis de Miranda, PhD, is an action philosopher of innovation (Crealectics) and self-innovation (Philosophical Health).

He is the author of +15 books such as Being and Neonness (MIT Press), Ensemblance (Edinburgh University Press), and Philosophical Health (Bloomsbury).

Prior to becoming an academic at the age of 43, he was an independent author of fiction and non-fiction in Paris (France), a chief-editor as well as a cultural entrepreneur, the founder of two publishing houses.

He is the founder of the Philosophical Health International movement.

Beyond epistemic research, he is a philosophical practitioner advising individuals and active in healthcare institutions and in corporations, such as Vattenfall R&D. Within the latter he initiated the intercreation of a Crealectic Lab.
