Department of Marketing and Strategy
Marketing is about creating, developing and running a business to achieve the goal of the organization – be it profit or some other ultimate purpose – by creating values through the supply-chain, i.e. ‘to do business’.
Strategy is the long-term direction of a firm or organization that combines a specific competitive position (re macro-trends, competitors, customers, etc.) with particular capabilities with the aim to create sustainable competitive advantage. The goal of the Department of Marketing and Strategy is to contribute to business and society by providing valuable research findings from our research related to marketing and strategy, and managerial competence through our engagement and efforts in the SSE educational programs.
