Baldauf, Christoph

Christoph Baldauf is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Center for Retailing. His main research interest concerns the field of empirical operations management. In particular, he studies how logistics/operations (e.g., retail delivery, returns management) impact customer behavior in online and omnichannel retail. In his research, Christoph has collaborated with various national and international retailers. His work has been published in leading academic journals, such as Management Science and the Journal of Operations Management.

Christoph earned his Ph.D. from Stockholm University, during which he spent six months at the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Porto, Portugal. He also obtained his M.Sc. in Operations Management & Control from Stockholm University, during which he studied one term at UNSW Business School at the University of New South Wales, Australia. Before relocating to Stockholm, Christoph worked and studied in several other international contexts in Germany, China, the Netherlands, and the United States of America. At the Stockholm School of Economics, Christoph is currently the faculty representative of the E-commerce Retail Club.
