We hosted a lunch session in collaboration with Kvinnovation, featuring speakers from tech, academia, and the business community. During this event, we discussed what drives success in female entrepreneurship and how we can create more inclusive conditions for the future.

This session was hosted in collaboration with Kvinnovation - a Sweden-based organization working to increase female entrepreneurship across different fields. Marie Samre and Gabriella Malki introduced Kvinnovation and shared insights from their recent work with female entrepreneurs in Sweden, highlighting key themes and challenges.
The presentation was followed by a panel discussion on how to create more inclusive and supportive conditions for female entrepreneurship. The panel included Elin Eriksson (Creative Director at Women in Tech) as well as Assistant Professor Giada Baldessarelli and Professor Valentina Tartari (both SSE House of Innovation), and was moderated by Kvinnovation.

Elin Eriksson
Creative Director, Women in Tech Sweden
Elin has been involved in the Women in Tech initiative since 2015, when serving as a Brand Manager at the Bonnier Group. Director of Women in Tech Sweden since 2019 when she took the leap from being employed to becoming a freelancer. Within Yaysayer AB, Elin is developing and implementing internal and external brand and communications strategies, providing communications support for management teams in major change and transformation projects, as well as doing quite a bit of graphic design (yes, she is a formidable PowerPoint wizard) and function as a creative director.
Giada Baldessarelli
Assistant Professor, SSE House of Innovation
Besides her research on teams involved in innovation projects, Giada is involved with diversity, equality and inclusion questions as the DEI Representative at the SSE House of Innovation.
Valentina Tartari
Jacob and Marcus Wallenberg Professor of Innovative and Sustainable Business Development, SSE House of Innovation
Among many other studies, Valentina has researched the gender differences in university-industry collaboration activities. She also serves as the Academic Strategy Lead for Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI) at SSE.
