SSE granted five-year re-accreditation from EQUIS

The Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) is proud to announce our reaccreditation by the EQUIS Accreditation Board for an additional five years. This accreditation reflects SSE's ongoing efforts to maintain high standards as a business school.

At a meeting on December 12, 2023, the EQUIS Accreditation Board decided to award SSE accreditation for a further period of five years. In its assessment, the EQUIS Peer Review Team acknowledged SSE's adherence to and, in a number of areas, surpassing of the EQUIS standards.

The school has demonstrated its well-established position in the academic and business communities. Its connections with practice were evident, showcasing effective engagement with the business world and practical applications of academic learning. The quality of SSE's students also stood out, indicative of the institution's rigorous academic standards and selective admissions process.

Furthermore, the faculty's research output was recognized, highlighting the significant contributions of SSE's academic staff to their respective fields. The dedication and expertise of the core faculty also played a crucial role in maintaining the high educational standards of the school. Lastly, SSE's international alliances and partnerships were noted for enriching the educational experience and fostering global perspectives among students and faculty.

Collective efforts

“This is truly a result of collective efforts and dedication across our whole institution. Our focus remains on delivering an educational experience that prepares our students not only for the challenges of today but for the opportunities of tomorrow," says Lars Strannegård, President of SSE.

SSE has been accredited by EQUIS since 1999.
