MSc students receive the SSE Ukrainian Excellence Scholarship

A warm welcome to Lesia, Volodymyr and Alina who officially enrolled in our MSc program in Accounting, Valuation and Financial Management last week and are the first SSE Ukrainian Excellence Scholarship recipients.

In 2022, Milda Tylaite and Anastasiya Klychko initiated and established the "SSE Ukrainian Excellence Scholarship". The scholarship covers the tuition fees and living expenses for Ukrainian MSc students.

This past week, the scholarship recipients Lesia, Volodymyr and Alina officially enrolled in our MSc program in Accounting, Valuation and Financial Management.

"I welcome these three bright students and say thank you to two very entrepreneurial colleagues who not only came up with the idea, but also took time to execute it! Along those lines, I also want to thank Nordea and Stefan Löhr who generously contributed towards the scholarship fund", says Program Director Martin Carlsson-Wall.

SSE’s operations embody a Fact and science-based mindset, Empathy and cultural literacy, Reflection and self-awareness, and Entrepreneurship. In a word, SSE aims to be a FREE Business School and as such impactful for all of its stakeholders, locally, nationally, and globally. The SSE Ukrainian Excellence Scholarship is a great example of this.

Should you have any questions about the SSE Ukrainian Excellence Scholarship, or if you are interested in contributing to the Scholarship Fund, as well as providing internship or career opportunities for our Ukrainian students, please reach out to Milda Tylaite, Assistant Professor at the Department of Accounting, and Martin Carlsson-Wall, Program Director for the MSc program in Accounting, Valuation & Financial Management and Professor at the Department of Accounting.
