For the seventh year in a row the SSE MBA Corporate Partners Scholarship has been awarded to a top talent nominated by the Corporate Partners of the Stockholm School of Economics. The scholarship covers the full tuition fee for the SSE MBA Executive Format degree program, at value of SEK 495,000.

This is an extraordinary opportunity. I would like to express my gratitude to those who supported me as the scholarship candidate, specifically my manager Annika Rådeström for the nomination," says Karin E Svensson.

Karin E. Svensson – responsible for, among many things, ICA:s strategic work on IT and information security – thinks the timing for further studies is perfect.

"Digitalization is transforming businesses and industries all around us right now. I look forward to digging deeper into entrepreneurship, innovation and management, and explore new ideas with other experienced participants."

Entrepreneurial spirit and successful leadership

Candidates chosen for the scholarship are all high-potential managers with an entrepreneurial spirit and a proven record of successful leadership. The recipient of the scholarship is expected to contribute to the Corporate Partner organization by bringing best practices as well as new tools and ideas back into the business and become a leader who works more effectively with a strategic and holistic understanding of the organization.

"The purpose of the scholarship is to promote executive development among our next generation of leaders. It is also a way to say thank you to our generous Corporate Partners", says Karin Wiström, Stockholm School of Economics.
