The Peter Högfeldt Award winners

During the ceremony the Peter Högfeldt Award was presented for the first time. In August 2015, one of SSE’s former teachers passed away. Throughout his many years of work at SSE and SSE Riga, he showed a remarkable commitment to his students. One of them was his former thesis student Simon Angeldorff, who has funded the awards for outstanding PhD thesis in each program in the spirit of Peter Högfeldt. The PhD doctors who received the awards this year were Paola Di Casola & Spyridon Sichlimiris in Economics, Carl Henning Christner in Business Administration and Mariana Khapko in Finance. SSE is very grateful for Simon’s support in memory of Peter Högfeldt.

During the evening the guests enjoyed high-quality entertainment performed by SSE students.
