SSE MBA Corporate Partner scholarship recipient Sherine Garrana

Sherine Garrana, Senior Vice President Global CX Product Line Wellbeing at Electrolux Group, has been awarded the SSE MBA Corporate Partner scholarship 2022. The scholarship is awarded a top-performing manager employed and nominated by one of SSE's Corporate Partners. It's the 10th consecutive year that SSE handles out the scholarship to it's Corporate Partner companies.

The scholarship covers the full tuition fee of SEK 595,000 for the SSE MBA Executive Format program.

“The purpose of the scholarship is to promote executive development among our next generation of leaders. It is also a way to thank our generous Corporate Partners”, says Karin Wiström, Director SSE MBA, Stockholm School of Economics.

All candidates for the scholarship must be top-performing managers with an entrepreneurial spirit and a proven record of successful leadership. The recipient of the scholarship is expected to contribute to the Corporate Partner organization by bringing best practices, new tools and ideas into the business. They are encouraged to become leaders that work more effectively with a strategic and holistic understanding of their organization.

“I look forward to the journey ahead with SSE’s Executive MBA program from both a professional and personal growth perspective. I am excited about learning, expanding my network, and exchanging experiences with talented and diverse professionals from different industries.

I would like to thank Electrolux for nominating me for this scholarship and providing me with such a unique opportunity. I look forward to bringing the learnings through this program to practice in both current and future roles,” says Sherine Garrana.

The SSE MBA Corporate Partner Scholarship 2022 is awarded to Sherine Garrana, with the following motivation:

"Sherine is a truly cross-cultural, inspiring and curious leader with a strong drive. She has an entrepreneurial spirit and a proven record of successful leadership and team building, with the potential to grow even further.

Sherine has a BSc in Economics and Management from the University of London. She grew up in Egypt, joined Electrolux in Belgium, and has had a global career with them based in both Stockholm, Bangkok and Singapore. She was recently promoted to Senior Vice President and is a real role model for others to follow. Sherine is described by Electrolux as a top, versatile talent, able to take on a multitude of roles and further increase responsibility, and as a role model for collaboration across functions and breaking silos.

Through the SSE MBA program, Sherine will receive solid general management knowledge to complement her strong existing leadership skills. This will support her in achieving her full potential in current and future leadership roles within Electrolux, where she can have an even greater impact. Together with her international experience, background and potential, Sherine is a very worthy recipient of the SSE MBA Corporate Partner scholarship 2022".
