Martina Björkman has been elected a new member of the European Economic Association Executive Committee

We are very proud to announce that Martina Björkman, Acting Mistra Professor of Sustainable Markets at MISUM and Associate Professor at the Department of Economics has been elected a new member of the European Economic Association (EEA) Executive Committee. Her term of office will run from January 2022 to December 2024.
The EEA Executive Committee prepares and carries out the decisions of the Council and of the EEA Members and is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the Association. It consists of the President, the President-Elect, the Vice-President, the Past President, the Executive Vice-President (who acts as both Secretary and the Treasurer), three At-Large Council Members who each sit for a period of three years, and the Managing Editor of JEEA.
The appointment is a testament to Martina’s expertise and professional standing in economics, where her research focuses on developing economics, health economics and education. Many congratulations.
