										For over 40 years, the Students' Nobel NightCap, SNNC, has served as the unofficial after party to the Nobel Banquet on December 10. It is one of the absolute highlights of the Nobel Week and, for many of its guests, offers a well-needed break from the limelight. And it's entirely organised by students.

								Abhijeet Singh awarded 1.5 million Euros by the European Research Council to study social inclusion in Indian schools

										Abhijeet Singh, Associate Professor at the Department of Economics and Affiliated Researcher at Misum, has been awarded a Starting Grant from the European Research Council for a project studying social inclusion in private schools in India. His research project is one of only twelve in Sweden to receive the grant this year.

										In August, Celine Zipfel, Assistant Professor at the Department of Economics at SSE, was awarded for outstanding pedagogical achievements at SSE. Celine was awarded for her work in redesigning an MSc course on Development Economics with great success. The course was highly appreciated among students, covering a wide range of topics and giving a holistic view of the field.

The new chair is made possible by a donation from Katarina Martinson, thereby ensuring that Sweden and SSE keeps one of the leading professors in financial research.
