After being requested by people with reading disabilities who can not read printed text, the book "CSR and sustainable business" is now available as a special audio book in Swedish. It is a book that is read under special copyright exemption rules to make it easier for people with reading disabilities. It’s a further development of books in tactile alphabet or braille and are produced and provided on similar terms.

Today, Almedalsveckan has kicked off and the transformation towards a sustainable society is a topic that will be frequently debated during this year's edition of the event. Several of our researchers is going to take part in various events.

On June 29th, the Center for Sports and Business held an advisory board meeting taking place at the Stockholm School of Economics. This meeting brought together members of the Center for Sports & Business as well as members of our advisory board to discuss strategic issues for the Center’s future development.

New article by center director Rikard Westerberg in business history journal Enterprise and Society. The article discusses the investment strategies and dismantlement of the Swedish Wage-Earner funds in the 1980s. 

It is no secret that what we eat and how this has been produced plays a large part in the process of climate change. While we know that changing our eating habits can have a meaningful impact on the environment, changing does not seem to be as easy as it sounds – especially not when factoring in the cultural meaning our culinary habits carry. Valentina Bosetti, Dr. Friederike Döbbe and Hannes Leo presented their findings during the event Tours d’ Europe, on 14 June. 

At the beginning of June, the Center for Sports and Business was invited to the 4th Edition of Swedish Elite Football’s (SEF) Network Arena, a 2-day conference that took place in Berlin, Germany.

The conscious leaders of tomorrow are flocking to the Stockholm School of Economics’ startup incubator SSE Business Lab. During the summer, eight new teams will start their journey at the incubator, where they will get a boost in building their companies through the programs.

SSE Executive Education is climbing Financial Times’ prestigious rankings and is now in tenth place in the world for open programs. For the 22nd year running SSE Executive Education continues to top the Nordic and Baltic rankings.
