Daniel Barr

Daniel Barr is since 2018 the Director General for the Swedish Pension Agency. He has a post graduate exam (ekonomie licentiat) in Finance from Stockholm School of Economics. He was previously head of Products in Folksam, the largest insurance group i Sweden and has long background as a civil servant in the Swedish government sector such as the Prime Minister’s office, the Swedish central bank (acting head of dept.), the Ministry of Finance (deputy head of dept.), the Seventh AP-fund (Chief Analyst), , the Premium Pension Authority (Chief Economist) and the Swedish National Debt Office (Head of Bank Support).
