Swedish Minister Anna Hallberg and Russian Minister Denis Manturov meet to discuss Circular Economy and Innovation

In connection with the Ministerial meetings of the Swedish-Russian Steering Committee, Anna Hallberg, Swedish Minister for Foreign Trade and Nordic Affairs and Denis Manturov, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation will introduce a discussion on Circular Economy and Innovation on Friday, October 15 at 14.00.

The discussion will also feature leading Swedish and Russian companies with speakers including Elena Bodnarchuk, Deputy CEO – Chief Commercial Officer, Unigreen Energy, Jesper Brodin, CEO of Ingka Group, Christine Leveque, Cluster Leader Sustainability Europe & Central Asia, Tetra Pak, and Aleksei Sergeev, COO of the Wastepaper Processors League Association. The discussion will be moderated by Elin Bergman, COO, Vice President and spokesperson of the Swedish circular economy network Cradlenet.

The event is cohosted by the Stockholm School of Economics, the Russian Trade Representation in Sweden and Östkontoret. Against the backdrop of two new working groups being established at the meeting of the Steering Committee, both the topic for the panel discussion, and the Stockholm School of Economics as the venue where it is staged, make this event an excellent extension to the Steering Committee program in Stockholm.The Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) has a long history of cooperating with Russia in the areas of higher education and research with its SSE Russia branch in St Petersburg and the Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics’ (SITE),close connections to some of the top research institutions in Russia.
