Fredriksson, Cecilia

Cecilia Fredriksson is a PhD Candidate in Business Administration at the Department of Management and Organization (DMO), Stockholm School of Economics, as well as at the Stockholm Center for Organizational Research (SCORE).

In her dissertation, the organisation and balance of multiple autonomies and identities in meta-organisations (Ahrne & Brunsson 2005, 2008) are explored through a construction of actorhood lens (Berger & Luckmann 1966; Meyer & Jepperson 2000). What organisational mechanisms can be observed when actorhood is constructed and how are organisations 'becoming what they are' whilst in constant balance between being an autonomous organisation and a part of a collective are questions of interest in this study. The European accreditation audit setting, in which multiple organisations at multiple governance levels are intertwined and co-dependent on each other, serves as the empirical context in the dissertation.

Previous research interests have centered around digitalisation in the public sector, specifically regarding the use of big data in creating new knowledge as support in decision-making and the consequences of using big data as decision support.
