Bunraku, that is, traditional marionette theatre (also called Ningyō Jōruri) and this group, Chiryu-dashi-bunraku-hozonkai was recognized by UNESCO as World Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2016. Dagens Handel has published an article on the Applied Retail Track. Applied Retail Track, a course co-created by students, faculty and corporate partners. It is part of the 3-year bachelor’s degree program in retail management run by the Center for Retailing (CFR).

Piotr Bukanski and Tiago Enes wrote their masters thesis about "The Impact of M&A on Innovation: A European Perspective." Now they have been awarded third prize in a competiton for essays on innovation, commercialization and utilization organized by Entrepreneurship and Small Business Research Institute (ESBRI) and Sweden's innovation agency (Vinnova).

The collaboration between faculty and companies is an educational success factor for the Stockholm School of Economics’ bachelor program in Retail Management. The unique pedagogy is now featured in a scientific article published in the Journal of Marketing Education.

Martina Björkman Nyqvist (Associate Professor, Department of Economics) has received research funding of 2 million SEK from Carl Bennet in order to evaluate an innovative education program in Assam in Northeast India.

On Thursday March 15, SITE organised a seminar together with the Embassy of Finland on the state of Russia ahead of the election. Finnish and Swedish experts on Russia were gathered to discuss how the presidential election will impact economic and political development in Russia.
