Stockholm School of Economics tops the list of Sweden’s most international universities

Stockholm School of Economics, Chalmers and KTH top the list of Sweden’s most international universities in the Swedish Foundation for International Cooperation in Research and Higher Education’s (STINT) annual Internationalization Index.

STINT’s index details development in six key aspects of internationalization, including research, education, personnel and management, and provides support in the Stockholm School of Economics’ continued internationalization efforts.

“Our strategic focus is to become a leading international business school based in Stockholm. This award is an acknowledgement of the fact that our goal-oriented efforts are yielding results and we are very pleased that this is highlighted in STINT’s survey for the fourth consecutive year,” says Lars Strannegård, President of the Stockholm School of Economics.

The Internationalization Index is intended as a tool for defining internationalization in higher education and research, and for increasing commitment in issues related to internationalization.

The Internationalization Index includes the 28 higher education institutions with substantial research volumes and is updated annually. The aim of the Index is to give an overview of development, thereby promoting a fact-based discussion of internationalization.
