New SSE board member appointed by Swedish government

The Swedish government has appointed Lena Gustafsson, Vice Chancellor of Umeå University, to the board of directors of the Stockholm School of Economics.
Lena Gustafsson replaces Erik Åsbrink whose appointment lasted from 2002 to 2016.
The statutes of the Stockholm School of Economics state that one of the board members of the school be appointed by the Swedish Government for a duration of the government’s choice.
