Case Cracking and profitability strategies with Accenture

Retail Management students in Accenture Retail Club explored real consulting work through an interactive case-cracking workshop at Accenture's Stockholm offices.

Josefin Edenborg, SSE RM Alumna and Management Consultant at Accenture, introduced students to the basics of case cracking, showing how consultants' structure and solve complex business problems. After a brief interactive overview of key tools and frameworks, students applied the methods in a profitability case about a foreign bus company deciding whether to invest in fuel-efficient buses. Students proposed solutions such as dynamic pricing and cost-saving measures, and the session ended with a short discussion on how to present recommendations clearly.
