The event began with an introduction to ICA's recruitment process, led by Annika Grundfors, Senior Recruiter at ICA Gruppen. Prior to the session, all students had the opportunity to complete ICA's own recruitment tests, acting as a foundation for an engaging discussion about their own hiring practices and overall job market. Thereafter, the students were joined by Ella Lehtimäki, Strategy Manager at ICA Sverige, and Lisa Runnö, Business developer at ICA Gruppen, during a “fika-break”. Both shared their experiences and insights as SSE alumni employed at ICA, introducing valuable perspectives on career development.

To wrap up the day, Emma Lindahl, Head of ICAx, shared reflections on her career journey and her role as a manager during recruitment processes. The afternoon concluded with a lively and thoughtful discussion entailing topics such as career journey, work-life considerations and finding one’s own career path.
