Best in class when it comes to social purpose

Systembolaget invited the Retail Club to a workshop about how they can learn from other companies' social-purpose work.

Anna Raninen,
Health Manager, invited the students, and three colleagues from Systembolaget, to a workshop on exploring how Systembolaget can incorporate their purpose into external processes, offers, and customer experiences. The students had prepared by doing research and identifying insights from 13 different companies that have 'social good' as part of their purpose. Each student presented their key insights and advice for how Systembolaget could adapt some of the procedures and ways of working to strengthen the purpose throughout their operations. Valuable insights from companies like Tarte, Ben & Jerry’s, Singular Society, and McKinsey were presented.

The workshop ended with group discussions about the takeaways Systembolaget should incorporate or act on, a discussion that had to be cut short due to time restrictions, although both students and Systembolaget employees found it interesting and inspiring.

Thanks to Anna for hosting this workshop. Also, thanks to Lill Bölte, Head of Sustainability & Stakeholder Development, Kaisa Snidare, Strategic Development Alcohol & Health and Karolina Dahlbeck Nobel, Partnerships & Development Alcohol & Health, for attending the workshop and contributing with your thoughts.
