Erik Wetter to World Economic Forum Working Group

Misum´s Erik Wetter has been invited to join the World Economic Forum Working Group on Trusted Data Innovations. 
The World Economic Forum (WEF) is a not-for-profit foundation committed to improving the state of the world, and is the leading international organization for Public-Private Cooperation. WEF engages the foremost political, business and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas. All activities are based in stakeholder theory, which asserts that an organization is accountable to all parts of society. 
 
In addition to the Annual Meeting in Davos, WEF runs a number of System Initiatives addressing the global, regional and industry challenges facing the world. The Working Group on Trusted Data Innovation forms part of the System Initiative on Shaping the Future of Digital Economy and Society, a global platform for cooperation to build a digital economy that is sustainable, inclusive and trustworthy.
 
Other Working Group members include Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, USAID, World Health Organisation (WHO), McKinsey & Co., and academic institutions represented are Harvard University, New York University, UC Berkeley, Johns Hopkins University, and the University of Washington.
 
Working Group activities will include events in Seattle and in New York during the second Sustainable Development Summit in September, supporting dialogue and policy development that will inform the agenda for the Davos Annual Meeting in 2019.
