Jonas Dahl on daring to share our mistakes
02 February, 2026
Affiliated Researcher Jonas Dahl was interviewed in the podcast "Jobbfika" about why daring to talk about our mistakes can turn into an asset for developing an organization.
In order to establish an environment where sharing our mistakes is encouraged, he recommends striving for workplaces that support risk-taking through openly sharing failures, and learning how sharing our mistakes can make us grow. He emphasizes the emotional mechanisms behind failure sharing, showing how shame tends to inhibit sharing while guilt can promote it. He also suggests building simple habits, such as sharing the “hit and shit” of the week in in your next meeting.
