Session I: Imagination - reimagined.

Akira Maezawa

Senior Engineer, Yamaha

Akira is a researcher in music informatics, passionate about delivering the rewarding experience of music-making to more people on this planet through technology. He has worked on research and development of music information retrieval and audio signal processing technologies using machine learning, which is now used in various platforms like mobile apps to electronic keyboard instruments. He has also worked on real-time music ensemble and interactive systems, which have made appearances in concert venues like Ars Electronica Festival's AI x Music concert, Digital Content Expo, TV shows, and many others. These have also appeared as interactive installations in events like SXSW, CES, Digital Content Expo, Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra's SALAD Music Festival, and many others.

Akira has received numerous awards and honorary mentions (10+), including the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity's Entertainment Lions for Music (SILVER), the Information Processing Society of Japan’s Research and Engineering Award, and the Yamashita Research Award.

Ann Lislegaard

Visual Artist

Ann Lislegaard (NO/DK) lives and works in Copenhagen. Significant solo exhibitions include Raven Row (London), National Gallery of Denmark (Copenhagen), MOCAD Museum of Contemporary Art (Detroit), Henry Art Gallery (Seattle), Astrup Fearley Museum of Modern Art (Oslo), Moderna Museet Project (Stockholm), Esbjerg Art Museum (Esbjerg), Tel Aviv Museum (Tel Aviv).

Besides participating in numerous group-exhibitions in renowned museums and art insti- tutions internationally, her work has been shown at the 51st Venice Biennale, the 27th São Paulo Biennale, the 12th Lyon Biennale, the 19th Biennale of Sydney, and the 11th Gwangju Biennale. Notably, she was featured in the 51st Venice Biennale, the 27th São Paulo Biennale, the 12th Lyon Biennale, the 19th Biennale of Sydney, and the 11th Gwangju Biennale.
Her work can be found in the collections of the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia (Madrid), Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum (New York), MCASD Museum of Contemporary Art (San Diego), Louisiana Museum of Modern Art (Humlebak), MONA Museum of Old and New Art (Hobart), Henie Onstad Art Center (Oslo), and Kunstmuseum Wolfsburg (Wolfsburg), among others.

   

Jonas Bonnier

Author, Scriptwriter, Talkshow Host, and Ph.D. Student, House of Innovation

Jonas Bonnier currently works as a talkshow host at Sveriges Radio on Talkshow i P1. He has a masters degree in literature from Uppsala University and is a PhD student in Business Administration at SSE. As an author, he published his first novel in 1988 and in recent years, the trilogy in the genre true crime fiction Helikopterrånet, Knutby and Spionen Bergling were published 2018-2021. As a scriptwriter, he turned Knutby into a TV-series that ran on TV4 in the fall of 2020. Helikopterrånet is right now being filmed for Netflix, with a screenplay by Ronnie Sandahl as directed by Daniel Espinoza.

Michael Storåkers

Executive Chairman and Head of Contemporary Art, CFHILL; Executive Chairman, Rodebjer and A Day’s March; and Ph.D. Student, House of Innovation

Michael Storåkers is Executive Chairman and Head of Contemporary Art at CFHILL, Executive Chairman of Rodebjer and A Day’s March. He has formerly been CEO of the advertising group McCann Nordic, CEO of the auction house Bukowskis, as well as Chairman and Co-owner of Pysslingen. He has served as Board Member for Acne Studios, Stockholm School of Economics and Fidelio Capital, as well as Beckman School of Design AB and the Advisory Board of the Modern Art Museum in Stockholm.

Michael is currently a PhD Student at the House of Innovation at the Stockholm School of Economics and at Åbo Akademi in Art History.

Per Sundin

CEO, Pophouse Entertainment

Per Sundin is a Swedish music executive who has been CEO of Pophouse Entertainment since 2019. Under his tenure, Pophouse Entertainment has among other things acquired the publishing and recording rights of Swedish House Mafia and Avicii.

Before joining Pophouse, Per had worked in the record label industry for over 20 years, across Sony, Universal Music Sweden and Universal Music Nordics. Per is known for his work with musicians like Avicii, Tove Lo, Swedish House Mafia, and ABBA.

He is also the co-founder of the Avicii Experience, a museum dedicated to Avicii with whom he worked closely after signing him in 2010. He is also chairman of the ABBA Voyage company, a concert residency started by the Swedish pop group ABBA in 2022.

Per has also been credited for the pivotal role he played in the rise of Spotify and music streaming, which is depicted in the Netflix series The Playlist.

Alexandra Lutz

Head of Motherbrain, EQT

Alexandra Lutz joined EQT in 2019 and is the Head of Motherbrain, EQT’s proprietary investment platform. The platform uses AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics to help EQT’s investment teams and portfolio companies drive value across the ownership lifecycle from sourcing, to due diligence to value creation.

Prior to her role at Motherbrain, Alexandra was the Head of Digital Growth for EQT in the US. There, she partnered with investment professionals and portfolio company management teams to define and develop thematic investment ideas, source and due diligence targets and, in the holding period, identify, define and execute trajectory-changing value creation strategies for the portfolio with an emphasis on go-to-market strategy, product and service innovation, and data strategy.

Alexandra has over twenty years' experience building and scaling digital businesses and delivering tangible value from digital transformation, with past roles including Chief Strategy Officer, President of a start-up, Chief Operating Officer and a management consultant. Alexandra’s first career was as an Emmy-award winning journalist for ABC News where she worked in Moscow, London and New York.

Alexandra has a BA from Yale University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Beatrice Sablone

Data & Information Strategist, Swedish Financial Supervisory Agency

Beatrice has worked for more than 15 years with digitalisation and data, both in the private sector, at companies such as H&M and Microsoft, as well as in small startups. Her former role was the Chief Data Officer of the Swedish Employment Agency. Currently, she is determined to make her current employer, the Swedish Financial Supervisory Agency, more data-driven and has started several large initiatives to take the agency to the next level in the decision intelligence world.

David Olgart

Director, Cybercampus Sweden
David Olgart has spent over 25 years working with cybersecurity, risk management, and capability and business development. He has held several positions in the Swedish defence sector, both in government agencies as well as a consult in the private sector. In the past few years, he has worked closely with academia on activities related to cyber defence.

David holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from KTH and is a Lieutenant Commander in the Naval Engineering Corps, reserve.

Luka Crnkovic-Friis

Head of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, King

Luka Crnkovic-Friis is the Head of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at King, where he is responsible for leading and building the King AI and machine learning function and ensuring that the technology is integrated with King’s ambitious vision for the future of mobile games. Luka has more than 18 years of experience with neural networks and their industrial applications, and is a frequent speaker at prestigious AI and ML conferences. In 2023, Luka was recognised as one of the top 100 leaders in AI in the Nordics and featured in The Hyperight Nordic 100 In Data, Analytics and AI list.

Prior to joining King, Luka served as the CEO and Founder of Peltarion, a leading company specialized in Deep Machine learning (acquired by King in April 2022). Luka holds a Bachelor and Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.

Sara Övreby

Head of Public Policy, Google Sweden

Sara Övreby is Head of Public Policy at Google in Sweden. She has a strong commitment to society and works to reduce the gap between technology and policy. Since 2020, she has chaired the International Chamber of Commerce's (ICC) Committee on Digital Economy. Sara has a background as a political adviser in the European Parliament and as press secretary in the Government Offices. Before joining Google, Sara worked as Global Public Affairs Manager at Scania.

Sofia Sirvell

Chief Digital Officer, Sandvik Group

Sofia Sirvell is the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) for Sandvik Group. An industrial engineer at heart, Sofia has over 23 years of experience with IT, Supply chain and strategy management from various roles within large Swedish multinational companies such as ICA, H&M, and Sandvik. She is passionate about how technology and digitalization transform business and has proven to be a bold leader who has brought long-established companies into the modern digital world.

   

Ulrika Sanders Jonsson

Chief Data Officer, Universum

Ulrika is the Chief Data Officer at Universum Communications and an experienced leader in the space of digital transformation who loves working with product and process development using tech and data to create great user experiences and improved business results.

Ulrika has previously worked in executive leadership roles such as Chief Information Officer at a payment service provider, Director of IT & Business Development in a credit management service company as well as Head of Advanced Analytics and AI in the public sector.

She also has over 10 years' experience working in transformational change projects within telecom and financial services as well as the public sector at Accenture.

Fredrik Heintz

Professor in Computer Science, Linköping University

Fredrik Heintz is a Professor of Computer Science at Linköping University, where he leads the Division of Artificial Intelligence and Integrated Computer Systems (AIICS) and the Reasoning and Learning lab (ReaL). His research focus is artificial intelligence, especially Trustworthy AI, autonomous systems, and the intersection between machine reasoning and machine learning. His other roles include: Director of the Wallenberg AI and Transformative Technologies Education Development Program (WASP-ED), Director of the Graduate School of the Wallenberg AI, Autonomous Systems and Software Program (WASP), Coordinator of the TAILOR ICT-48 network developing the scientific foundations of Trustworthy AI, Coordinator of the TrustLLM project; Vice President for AI research of Adra the AI, Data and Robotics partnership, and President of the Swedish AI Society.

Fredrik Löfgren

CEO, Dyno Robotics AB

Nina Falkstrand

Head of Learning and Development, Scania
Nina Falkstrand has for over 20 years been part of the world leading the provision of transport solutions at the Swedish truck and bus manufacturer, Scania. In her current role, she is the Head of Learning and Development at Scania Academy.
Her previous positions in the company include Head of HR for the Research and Development organization, Head of HR for the Sales and Marketing organization, and Manager for the Occupational Health team. Nina has a Bachelor of Social Science in Psychology from Stockholm University.
