Join us for a captivating breakfast book seminar featuring the book "Mitt i krisen: Beredskap och ledarskap i skarpt läge" together with its authors Emma Lennartsson and Maja Fjaestad. During the pandemic they were the State Secretaties in the Ministry of Social Affairs and the Ministry of Finance, respectively.

In their book, the authors recount the behind-the-scenes accounts of crisis management and leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"We have written this book in the belief that learning lessons in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic is both necessary and possible. Preparedness aims to reduce society's vulnerability, and for good preparedness we need to learn from previous crises. I hope we continue to learn from the pandemic during a long time to come," says Maja Fjaestad.

The two authors will be hosted by the House of Governance and Public Policy at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) at a breakfast seminar. The moderators are Robert Östling, Professor of economics at SSE, Fredrik Bynander, Associate Professor and head of Centre for Societal Security at the Swedish Defence University, and Louise Bringselius, Associate Professor in management studies and affiliated researcher at SSE.

Date & Time: March 14, 8.00-9.30
Location: Ragnar, SSE

Breakfast will be served at 8:00. The seminar will begin at 8:30. We encourage all attendees to arrive early to enjoy breakfast with us before the seminar begins.
