Palmberg Broryd, Klara

Complexity, organizations as complex systems and how to drive innovation in complex settings is the interest of Klara Palmberg Broryd, in both research and practice. 

Klara Palmberg Broryd holds a Master of Science in Engineering and PhD from Luleå University of Technology, and she is the author of the book "Komplexitet – enklare navigerat, bättre hanterat" (Complexity – Easier to Navigate, Better Managed, Volante , 2021).

In 2009, she wrote her PhD thesis on organizations as complex adaptive systems, and since then she has developed both theory and practice on how we best work and create change in complex systems.

Today, Klara is a senior advisor and affiliated researcher at the Center for Secturity and Resilience at Stockholm School of Economics and a consultant in her own company. Before that, she was Head of the Department for state-owned companies at the Government Offices of Sweden and she was previously the Director of strategy and innovation in Nacka Municipality.
