SSE in top 10 globally in FT’s Masters in Management ranking 2025

The Financial Times has ranked the Stockholm School of Economics’ (SSE) Master program in International Business among the top 10 leading master management educations in the world. SSE advances to 9th place globally, 6th in Europe and remains #1 in the Nordic and Baltic region in the 2025 ranking.

The MIB program is up from 15th place globally in 2024 and 19th in 2023 and is now ahead of internationally renowned schools such as London Business School and Essec Business School. In Europe, the MIB program is now ranked in 6th place, up from 13th a year earlier. In terms of overall satisfaction, recent graduates rated the courses at 9.64 out of 10, up from 9.41 last year and the second highest score out of the top 10 ranked schools.

“Climbing into the top 10 is a great milestone, but what we value most is the way our program equips students to think critically, act responsibly, and connect globally,” says Ciara Sutton, program director of the MIB program at SSE. “That is what defines the experience at SSE, and what continues to open doors for our graduates.”

SSE gained ground in ten components, including weighted salary, career progress rank and percentage of recent graduates who were employed within three months of graduation. The program ranked #1 of all schools in international course experience, #4 in the new ESG and net-zero teaching category, and #10 in the supportiveness of the alumni network. The recently added ESG and net-zero teaching component is based on alumni evaluations and teaching hours from core courses dedicated to ESG issues and climate solutions for reaching net-zero emissions.

The Financial Times’ Masters in Management ranking is an annual assessment of the world’s top-ranked Master in Management programs – at SSE, this program is called the Master program in International Business. The ranking evaluates programs using data provided by the schools and survey responses collected from alumni three years after graduation.
