Comments from alumni
“Applied History is perhaps one of the most interesting, relevant, challenging and well-constructed courses that SSE has to offer. No matter what your interests are, this course will improve your understanding of history, international affairs, social science and economics in an applicable way to modern society. You will also become a better writer. Would definitely recommend to somehow who wants to deepen their understanding of how the world has worked and works”
“Apply, apply, apply. Seriously I would recommend this course to everyone. Regardless of historical interest, it provided amazing opportunities for self-reflection and analysis”
“This is course was the most interesting one I have taken at SSE. I really liked the structure of it with reading, writing an essay and especially the seminars. The literature was great. All participants were amazing and we had so fruitful discussions and I have learned so much.”
