To highlight the International Women's Day, researchers from Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics (SITE) and Centre for Economic Analysis (CenEA) have compiled a brief overview of studies that have changed the view of economic differences between women and men. The policy brief illustrates the importance of the need for better data in order to effectively design policies that can reduce disparities.

With government backing and collaboration from 15 partners, including Stockholm School of Economics, this initiative is set to change governance and tackle societal challenges. It signals a shift towards sustainability in Sweden's public sector.

This newly published paper, written by Matthias Hänsel, a PhD student at SSE, proposes a Hybrid Perturbation method to accurately solve Search-and-Matching models. An application to the Hagedorn and Manovskii (2008) model demonstrates its effectiveness in capturing non-linear model dynamics.
