Interaction between market and state crucial for a sustainable development

Professor Emeritus Lars-Gunnar Mattsson has been involved in academic research and education since the 1960’s. Over the decades, his research has covered aspects of industry and distribution structure and dynamics, industrial marketing and internationalization with a focus on interorganizational relationships. More recently, he has begun to focus on sustainable development as dependent on interaction between market governance and state governance.

Applying History III Now in Print

The Center for Statecraft and Strategic Communication has since 2020 offered the popular course "Applied History: World Orders and Contemporary Challenges" to BSc students at the Stockholm School of Economics. The anthology with student essays from the 2022 edition of the course can now be ordered from online bookstores.

On May 2nd, the Center for Sports and Business was invited to a partner event organized by Hammarby Football at Biblioteket Restaurang & Bar where Center Director Martin Carlsson-Wall held a lecture on the topic Life after COVID-19: How to become a winner? for Hammarby’s partners. The day was wrapped up by watching Hammarby’s home game against Malmö at Tele2 Arena.
