Roundtable Discussion | Ukraine’s EU integration: Institutional adaptation and green recovery
About
SITE and Nordic Ukraine Forum are pleased to host an exclusive roundtable discussion on Ukraine’s path to EU membership, with a focus on institutional reforms and green recovery. This event will bring together academics, policymakers, civil society actors, and representatives of international institutions to examine how Ukraine is aligning with EU standards while advancing a sustainable reconstruction agenda.
The discussion will explore Ukraine’s legal and governance reforms, strategies for meeting EU candidate criteria under wartime conditions, and the broader economic implications of integration. It will also highlight how the country’s post-war recovery intersects with EU Green Deal objectives, with attention to financing mechanisms, public-private partnerships, and opportunities for Nordic support in climate-smart rebuilding.
