Management Research Seminar: Engineering culture in the new normal of work + Idea generation and Research in Creative Writing!

For this research seminar, we first get to listen to Katja Einola and Jonathan Schunnesson talk about the multi-year research project explores the evolving nature of engineering culture within a large, multisite R&D organization, focusing on Ericsson as a case. They investigate how this culture, representing an intangible asset traditionally rooted in collective practices, loyalty, shared memories, and a strong sense of team identity, has been affected by the shift to hybrid, digital work and an overall move to a more fluid and individualistic orientation to work. their research highlights a transition from a collective "we:ism" to a more individualistic "me:ism", posing risks to collaboration and sustained innovation.

Secondly, Jenny Elfving, teacher at the Center for Modern Languages as well as accomplished author of historical fiction will share her insights on idea generation and research for creative writing.
