Anders Anderson interviewed about green investments

The Swedish House of Finance’s Anders Anderson is featured in the Swedish magazine Dagens ETC, where he is interviewed about his research on “Financial Literacy in the Age of Green Investment”.

Although environmental engagement in Sweden is widespread, Anderson’s research suggests that “those with an interest in environmental issues are usually not particularly experienced in personal finance.”  It may seem strange, but this group does not make green investments. Two explanations may be poor financial literacy and the inability of genuinely green mutual funds to distinguish themselves and convincingly demonstrate how they benefit the environment.
