Storytelling and Presentation Skills in Consulting with Accenture

Retail Management students in Accenture Retail Club participated in an interactive workshop on storytelling and effective presentation techniques.

The workshop was led by Josefin Edenborg, SSE RM Alumna and Management Consultant within retail at Accenture, and focused on how to communicate ideas clearly and persuasively in professional settings. Through three modules and accompanying exercises, students explored key aspects of effective communication. The first module emphasized the importance of vocal and visual delivery in strengthening a verbal message. The second highlighted the value of understanding the target audience, adapting communication styles, and building trust-based relationships with clients and colleagues. The final module focused on storytelling, demonstrating how facts become significantly more memorable when presented within a compelling narrative. Throughout the session, students practiced these skills through hands-on exercises and group discussions.
