Åhblom, Per

Per Ahblom's current research projects revolve around various topics on financial reporting and social studies of accounting and finance, with empirical foci such as the role of preparers in crafting communicative messages to capital market audiences, the role of face-to-face interactions in capital market settings, as well as coordination of complex services in public sector settings.

He defended his PhD, titled "The Financial Performance: A study of how financial numbers become meaningful", on June 8, 2017, at Stockholm School of Economics. He was awarded the Peter Högfeldt Award for Outstanding PhD Thesis in Business Administration.

Since 2016 Per Ahblom is a member of the faculty at the Department of Accounting at London School of Economics and Political Science and affiliated researcher at Mistra Center for Sustainable Markets (MISUM) and the Centre for Analysis of Risk and Regulation (CARR).
