Merchandise optimization at H&M

H&M Retail Club had a workshop on merchandise optimization at their offices in Marievik, Stockholm.

Frida Brage, Merchandise Manager kidswear, and Victoria Massaro, Supply Chain Merchandise Manager, held a presentation about kids merchandising at H&M. Students were asked to come up with suggestions on how to improve optimization of buying, store segments and stock based on recent sales numbers. The solutions included different approaches to merchandise allocation, strategies for pricing and strategies for the current economic situation.
