Krystal Zhao-Jansson
Krystal Zhao-Jansson is a PhD student at the House of Innovation within the Stockholm School of Economics. She is interested in the dynamic relationships among corporate governance, financing, and innovation, especially in start-ups and radical innovative entrepreneurial firms. Her research is focusing on the impacts on venture strategic decision-making and innovation performance from ownership structure, venture board, and new technologies such as artificial intelligence.
Before her PhD study, Krystal participated in a project that was held by Uppsala University and Handelsbanken. The project was infrastructure, institutions and innovation: a micro perspective in Sweden’s industrialization. Her focus was on the relationship between initial public offering and technological innovation in Sweden.
Krystal holds a master’s degree in Accounting and Financial Management and a one-year master’s degree in Marketing Strategic Management (magisterexamen) from Uppsala University, and a double bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Business Administration from Dalarna University.
