Career module with ikea
The module was run digitally due to the Covid-19 situation.
During the career module, the second-year students had a seminar with Åke Larsson, Sourcing Specialist at IKEA. He talked about his experiences of recruitment within IKEA and gave some examples of what they are looking for when reading job applications. The students also got the opportunity to get feedback on their resumes, along with general tips regarding both design and content.
Before the seminar, the students made a digital personality test called Pi. During the seminar, Åke Larsson talked about how that kind of test is used as a recruitment tool at IKEA. He also highlighted the importance of group dynamics and finding roles to the members of a group.
