How can young people do leadership differently?

My PhD research draws on critical studies, feminist ethics, and arts-based methods to explore how young people can do leadership differently and more responsibly in the Nordic context. I seek to deconstruct restrictive power relations that frame leader-follower dynamics, and build on dynamic conceptualisations of relationality, agency, politics of desire, and reciprocity.

I’m interested in social constructionism, and ways of fostering meaningful relationships within organisations. Using qualitative methods and interdisciplinary approaches I hope to contribute to fostering more collective action and moving beyond binary and hyper-individualistic ways of being and thinking.
