Greenwashing is a concept where funds want to promote themselves as green and sustainable – but beneath the surface lies dirty business. How to avoid scams.

The article, penned by Johan Båge addresses the subject of "Greenwashing" - green funds are among the hottest on the market. In 2020, they doubled their value in the US compared to the previous year, reaching a record value of $51 billion, equivalent to SEK 426 billion, according to financial research firm Morningstar.

But experts warn that the money attracts less honest actors, who want to attract people with green promises about sustainability, but are not really very sustainable, so-called "greenwashing".
