Family business best survivors in times of crisis - Mattias Nordqvist

Family Business History shows that family businesses are often the ones that manage crises better than other types of companies. They make longer-term decisions and have greater acceptance that it will take time to rise up after a crisis such as COVID-19.

Mattias Nordqvist, professor at the House of Innovation at the Stockholm School of Economics, conducts research on entrepreneurship, ownership and governance in different types of family businesses. Among other things, he has studied how family businesses throughout history handled crises.
