Mattia Bianchi

Matts Carlgren Chair in Business Administration, Professor - Department of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology, Director - The Garden Center for Design and Leadership

Mattia Bianchi holds the Matts Carlgren Chair in Business Administration and is a Professor of Business Administration at the House of Innovation at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE). He is Area Principal of Operations Management at SSE Russia and was formerly Program Director of the Master of Science in Business and Management at SSE.

Mattia holds a BSc, MSc and PhD in Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering from Politecnico di Milano and an International Diploma in Management from Imperial College London, UK. Mattia has also been visiting scholar at University of Calgary and Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.

Mattia has published several papers including articles in Journal of International Business Studies, Journal of Product Innovation Management, R&D Management, Technovation, Journal of Business Research, International Journal of Production Research, Research-Technology Management, The Energy Journal and Technology Analysis and Strategic Management. His main research areas are technology and innovation management, new product development and lean.
