Mathias Larsson Carlander
Mathias Larsson Carlander is a PhD Student at House of Innovation at Stockholm School of Economics (SSE).
Mathias' research focuses on organizations embracing connectivity and smart technologies that allow the organization to create product and service systems to expand its industry boundaries to new industry networks and ecosystems in which multiple new roles are possible. His primary research interest lies in transformation of the organization, digital innovation, product development, digital platforms, and digital ecosystems.
Mathias currently holds a MSc in Computer Science and Engineering from Linköping University.
Prior to his PhD studies Mathias has 20 years of experience working with ICT industry applications and services including more than 10 years in Product Management and Business Development roles. Most recently, he has been working with concept development of sustainable transport solutions by utilizing the connected vehicle data. Starting in the late 1990s and the following 7 years Mathias did research in the field of imaging, video, 2d graphics and media systems. Mathias has received an ISO/IEC Certificate of Appreciation for his contribution as a co-editor to Part 2 of the JPEG2000 standard.
Mathias is also an affiliated PhD Student at Swedish Center for Digital Innovation and the Integrated Transport Research Lab PhD affiliation program at KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
