The Centre for Economic and Policy Centre (CEPR) symposium of the Development Economics program will be hosted by Stockholm School of Economics on Thursday 19 May and Friday 20 May 2022. The conference is organised by Mistra Center for Sustainable Markets (Misum), Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics (SITE) and CEPR.

IMF World Economic Outlook: A Greener Labor Market

On 9 May, Mistra Center for Sustainable Markets (Misum) is hosting a seminar on the forthcoming April 2022 World Economic Outlook (WEO) chapter: “A Greener Labor Market: Employment, Policies, and Economic Transformation”. Niels-Jakob H. Hansen, Economist at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) working on the WEO, will join us to present key findings from the chapter.

The Stockholm Institute of Transition Economics (SITE) together with Mistra Center for Sustainable Markets (Misum), Center for Asian Studies, Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) and Stockholm Sustainable Finance Centre (SSFC) cordially invite you to join a hybrid seminar together with Erik Berglöf, Chief Economist at Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. He will present (in person) the Asian Infrastructure Finance 2021 report: Sustaining Global Value Chains. Berglöf will share the report’s conclusions on the nexus between supply chains and infrastructure development, highlighting the policies and investment needed to improve global value chains (GVCs) post pandemic.
