Supply Chain Strategies at H&M Group

H&M Retail Club had a workshop on supply chain strategy for its portfolio brands in Liljeholmen.

Alice Bourguignat and Carl Palmblad, from the team of supply chain strategy and design, presented a case asking students to come up with strategies on how H&M Group should plan its supply chain for portfolio brands. The supply chain triangle consisting of service, cost and cash was supposed to be applied.

Students presented a broad variety of ideas and there were interesting discussions at the end, for example concerning integration, risks, capacity planning, logistics, sustainability, and students’ own experiences.
