Workshop with Accenture on Design Thinking

John Farley, Design Lead at Fjord (part of Accenture Interactive) and several colleagues hosted a workshop on Design Thinking (DT).

The workshop started with an introduction to DT, where students gained insights into the central parts of this process and the underlying reasons behind its usefulness. Additionally, students were able to gain insight into how DT is applied in real business cases and which toolkits can be used to obtain necessary inputs required for such scenarios.

During the workshop, students were divided into groups of four accompanied with one company representative. Each group created an Empathy Map, Journey Map and a Challenge Statement for a customer using online banking payments. Afterwards, the collective groups reflected on and discussed the role / benefits of DT in organizations.
