Stores of the future
The workshop started off by Expansion Manager Anders Rover who described the process and aspect to consider when Coop establishes new stores. The contracts are often very long and it is vital that both the location and design of the store is future fit.
The students were divided into groups to discuss and present ideas on how stores and food purchases in physical stores will look like in 10-15 years. The ideas showed a clear shift towards time saving solutions, new additional services and customer experience.
The workshop illustrated the importance of keeping the future of the fast changing market and consumer behaviours in mind when taking today’s decisions.
