Divided into group the students got to make observations of the current retail market. Each group focused on one part of the whole retail market, like interior design or sportswear. The observations were later discussed with Johan Davidson, working as a chief economist at Svensk Handel. Two general observations were that almost everyone was quite poorly treated in-store, and that it's important to have close integration with online and offline.
In addition, the retail club got to meet large parts of the managing team, like the CFO and Marketing Director. They introduced the organization and its function in society, for example in political issues and labor law issues.
