ICA´S Retail Club had a workshop about online price strategy.
The workshop was held by Einar Carlsson who works as a price strategist responsible for the Kvantum stores at ICA. He asked the students to design an online pricing strategy based on the assumptions that the online market will grow until 2024.
Some of the suggestions presented by the students were for ICA to focus on a fixed delivery charge instead of a markup, not to compete on price, have different prices online vs offline, that prices should target costumer groups and keep their price position.
